If you are visiting with us for the first time, we would like you to know exactly what to expect. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable, and we promise to provide you with a positive experience. Your First Visit

Before your first visit, we invite you to download and print out the new patient paperwork from our website. If this isn’t possible, you can simply complete the paperwork in the office.

Your first visit will take 45-60 minutes, and will include a thorough evaluation, including

  • A detailed history and consultation
  • An examination
  • A discussion of your test results, including what the problem is and how we can correct it
  • A specific adjustment to help treat and manage your symptoms

If necessary, we also may refer you to a nearby X-ray facility for a more in-depth analysis of your condition.

Subsequent Visits

Depending on the severity of your condition, we may introduce some form of therapy to assist you in pain reduction and soft tissue healing. This therapy could include ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation. If necessary, we also may use specific manual soft tissue strategies, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy and stretching. These techniques work very well in helping the adjustments to hold, and in reducing inflammation and spasm.

Your visit would conclude with a specific spinal adjustment and possible exercise or rehabilitation suggestions.
